Welcome to the Official Website for the FDNY Honor Legion

The Honor Legion of the Fire Department of the City of New York has dedicated themselves to the families of members who Died In The Line Of Duty saving lives and protecting property of the citizens of New York City. During the year the Honor Legion holds various functions (Holiday Party/Parent-Sibling Brunch). These events provide an atmosphere of support where families may gather and speak with families in the same situation as themselves. They can learn means of coping with their lives after the loss of their loved one.

The Honor Legion works with the Fire Department administration, the counseling unit, and the UFA/UFOA to assist members families at the time of death and thereafter.
