The Brunch and Boat Ride was a tremendous success. Over 55 Parent's and Siblings of our Fallen Brother's attended the event. The families enjoyed a wonderful brunch held at the FDNY Fire Museum on Spring Street in Lower Manhattan. Commissioner Nigro attended the event, demonstrating a never ending commitment from the department to Never Forget our Fallen Members. The Commissioner was able to share comforting words with the family members. The FDNY Family Transport Foundation provided the transportation to the quarters of Marine Company 1. Then the families boarded the "343" for a wonderful boat ride which sailed up the Hudson, then going to the Statue of Liberty, continuing onto the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges.
